Old maps and their development and exploration fascinated me even as a small child – only as jigsaw puzzles. Nowadays you don’t even find the names of old countries and regions in an atlas. The discovery and cartography of the world can be traced particularly well in the various maps from the 14th century onwards.

I will gradually publish all the world maps that I have in my jigsaw puzzle collection here and report on them in more detail. Have fun with it!
